Razor’s Edge is a weekly current affairs radio show covering under-reported stories. The show is broadcast by 2ser, Sydney’s largest community radio. Peter’s ability to approach people helps him to do interviews and get those information out of the interviewee which other reporters never would get in front of a microphone. In this example Peter interviewed Steffen Moeller, a German who is a famous comedian in Poland.

As a freelance journalist Peter Jagla worked for several radio stations in Germany. At Radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, a local radio station in the state Northrine-Westfalia, he used to do radio current affair and background stories and co-hosted life broadcasts. This is an example of Peter co-hosting a broadcast from a recently opened international train station which is a hub for the region and important for businesspeople and travelers alike.

Peter used to cover top stories and braking news for the local radio station Radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, too. In this example he covers a fire in a motorbike workshop where there have been explosions, too.

Each week Peter Jagla presented an association, a club or an organization at Radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg. He planned the stories, interviewed, cut and edited them on his own. The organizations where picked randomly. This story is about the Schachfreunde, a club where young and old people play chess.

Can Polish people party hard? How is the nightlife in one of Europe’s newest and fastest growing cities? Peter accompanied a couple of backpackers on their trip through Warsaw. Starting in a hostel with a couple of beers the guys soon arrived at a jazz club to finally party hard in a night club in the city centre. This documentary has been produced during an academy by the journalism academy of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
